Bienal do Livro - (África-Angola 2026)
A bienal do Livro África Angola 2026 é uma iniciativa da Fundação Nélson Mandela e Agremiação Literaria Angolana Lê, e realização do governo de Angola atribuindo assim as chaves da Bienal em África e Angola e com sede na província de Luanda.

As valências da Bienal Internacional do Livro, são conhecidas pela forma e qualidade de organização, nesta primeira edição vamos juntar todos os movimentos culturais de África em um só lugar, como o teatro, artes cénicas, dança, músicas, artes plásticas e palestrantes, o livro é o principal instrumento deste evento contaremos com a presença dos escritores dos 54 países do continente Africano, e 200 escritores e académicos vindos da Europa e Américas, autores Brasileiros e Portugueses, jornalistas internacionais.

A Bienal do Livro trará reflexões sobre temas como diversidade, tecnologias e literatura inclusiva e uma África unida e sem guerras.

O que nos torna humano são as histórias, a cultura. E a Bienal celebra isso.

O evento será realizado nos dias 17 á 27 de Fevereiro do corrente ano, na província de Luanda no Shopping Avenida .Nesta primeira edição comemorativa, dos 22 anos de paz em Angola, marca abertura desse grande evento, e vai reunir mais de 200 autores e personalidades e mais de 200 horas de programação entre os dias 17 a 27 de Fevereiro. Luanda será a capital do livro, a nossa expectativa é de que aproximadamente 300 mil pessoas ou mais passem pelo evento nos doze dias de programação.

Durante o evento, os curadores como Tomás Burkler, Swelem Freitas, Ulisses Ribeiro e Agualusa vão apresentar os espaços Café Literário e palavra chave, que vai convidar autores Africanos e Brasileiros, cantores de renomes, apresentadores de televisão, escritores com mais anos de carreira, profissionais de diversas empresas privadas em Angola para conversar assuntos da actualidade, e não apenas sobre as suas expertises já conhecidas. As mesas reunirão, por exemplo, personalidades femininas, e o leitor é o motivo da nossa existência.

As inscrições estão abertas a partir do dia 05 de Janeiro até 05 e Fevereiro de 2026.

A organização oferece passagem aérea de ida e volta e acomodação para escritores convidados que se inscreverem e pagarem digitalmente através desta plataforma clicando no link apropiado e seguindo os passos.

O valor acima mencionado servirá para fazer a instalação/manutençaõ das stands onde os autores poderão vender o seus produtos. O Governo de Angola garantiu apoio na (1) recepção nos Aeroportos em Angola (2) transporte entre aeroportos, hoteis, local do evento, e parque turísticos em Angola (3) alojamento dos 10 dias que decorrá a Bienal e (4) almoço e bebidas não alcoólicas nos dias 18, 22 e 25 de Fevereiro 2026.

The Book Biennial - (Africa-Angola 2026)
The Africa Angola 2026 Book Biennial is an initiative of the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Angolan Literary Association Lê, and is organized by the Angolan government, which holds the keys to the Biennial in Africa and Angola, with its headquarters in the province of Luanda.

The strengths of the International Book Biennial are known for their form and quality of organization. In this first edition, we will bring together all the cultural movements of Africa in one place, such as theater, performing arts, dance, music, visual arts, and speakers. The book is the main instrument of this event. We will have the presence of writers from the 54 countries of the African continent, and 200 writers and academics from Europe and the Americas, Brazilian and Portuguese authors, and international journalists.

The Book Biennial will bring reflections on themes such as diversity, technologies, inclusive literature, and a united Africa without wars.

What makes us human are stories, culture. And the Biennial celebrates that.

The event will be held from February 17th to 27th of this year, in Luanda province at the Avenida Shopping Mall. This first commemorative edition, marking 22 years of peace in Angola, will bring together more than 200 authors and personalities and over 200 hours of programming between February 17th and 27th. Luanda will be the book capital; we expect approximately 300,000 people or more to attend the event during the twelve days of programming.

During the event, curators such as Tomás Burkler, Swelem Freitas, Ulisses Ribeiro, and Agualusa will present the Literary Café and Keyword spaces, which will invite African and Brazilian authors, renowned singers, television presenters, writers with many years of experience, and professionals from various private companies in Angola to discuss current issues, not just their well-known areas of expertise. The panels will bring together, for example, female personalities, and the reader is the reason for our existence.

Registration is open from January 5th to February 5th, 2026.

The organization offers round-trip airfare and accommodation for invited writers who register and pay digitally through this platform by clicking on the appropriate link and following the steps.

The amount mentioned above will be used to install/maintain the stands where the authors will be able to sell their products. The Angolan Government has guaranteed support for (1) reception at airports in Angola (2) transportation between airports, hotels, the venue, and tourist parks in Angola (3) accommodation for the 12 days during the Biennale and (4) lunch and non-alcoholic drinks on February 18, 22 and 25, 2026.
